Cars & Kicks
My partner Chris and I presented to General Motors, the Northbeat Community Hub. We created a consumer, Eddie Soto, along with a footwear product that included technology that can store our personal energy to be utilized elsewhere.
Eddie, a Smart Home Design Entrepreneur from Long Beach California, is enveloped in technology but still carries his relaxed, coastal vibe throughout his life.

With the theme Limitless and our design language, Agile, Adaptive, and Duality, Chris and I created a community hub where Eddie and North Long Beach can use their own energy as currency. We wanted to create a space that although heavily uses smart technology, it still allows for the community to come together and take a breather from the often hectic, fast paced technology driven world.

As the Color & Material Designer, I was tasked in creating color palettes inspired by our consumer and how we envision GM can move forward into the future.
Eddie likes to take his equinox EV or skateboard on the road to slow down and explore the world

Sometimes Eddie is moving fast, keeping up with new tech, and helping all of his clients stay up to date in their homes
Inspired by Eddie’s Mexican heritage and Ramos Arizpe where the Equinox EV is approved

A SMU created for the 2030 Long Beach Dew Tour sponsored by Chevy

As part of the Dew Tour exclusive SMU, I created a Dew Tour x Chevy branded print for the removable bootie and other products such as skateboards
